How does offline verification work?
When a license is activated, Keylight issues a short-lived signed token to the device. Your app verifies the Ed25519 signature locally at runtime, so it works without any network connection. The token is periodically refreshed in the background when the device is online.
Do you take a cut of my revenue?
No. Keylight is a flat-fee subscription service. We don't charge any transaction fees or take a percentage of your sales.
Can I use Keylight with any app?
Keylight is optimized for the Apple ecosystem (macOS, iOS, visionOS), but our API is platform-agnostic. You can use it with any app that can make HTTP requests.
Is there a limit on API calls?
The Free and Starter plans have generous limits. Pro and Enterprise offer unlimited API calls within reasonable usage patterns.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades apply at the end of your billing cycle.
What happens when my license limit fills up?
You'll get a notification when you're approaching your plan's limit. Existing licenses continue to work. You just can't mint new ones until you upgrade or deactivate older licenses.
